Our members undergo a rich and intense community-building process in the fall semester. During this time, we “create brave space together,” learn about our diverse backgrounds and histories, and discuss topics that are difficult for multi-racial groups to tackle. We partner with many outside sources in order to do this successfully. We seek to amplify voices that are often unheard, and we challenge ourselves to question our beliefs. Through this process, we have created community norms for our membership that we’re proud to share with you below:
Community Norms
Stay Engaged. Experience Discomfort.
Speak Your Truth. Take Risks. Expect and Accept Non-Closure.
No Fixing. Listen for Understanding.
